Mitchell Stewart Klyne from Winnipeg Manitoba Canada.
My sound has a Country vibe, with a lower register silky smooth type vocal styling.
Being a little older, I was born into the early beginnings of Rock n Roll. So all styles of music have influenced my soundtrack of life. Rock, Reggae, Country, Punk, Jazz……particularly music with vocal harmonies. Probably a Beatles influence at an early age.
Growing up in the 70’s as a drummer it didn’t take long to recognize I loved singing. Before I new it I owned a guitar to explore my new found beginnings as a vocalist. My music is based around Easy Listen Melodies/Harmonies with a Lyrical content that has heart felt stories and observations about life’s journey.
My commitment to the craft since my 2024 submission was to perform regularly and as often as possible. In 2025 I found myself at approximately 115 venues creating an atmosphere for dancing, sing alongs and tapping toes which was very humbling engagement and fulfilling.

Presently I’m working with Derek Benjamin @ Ctrl Space in the Private Ear Studio in Winnipeg.
We have 3 of 12 songs started in the Studio and the plan is to release a 3 or 4 song EP by Canada Day 2026
My demos are featured on my website until full release versions are available on Spotify etc.
Staying engaged with my fellow musicians is paramount. I’m working solo, several duos, The Mitchell Stewart Band, a jazzy trio and a new power trio presently has just made me more rounded and humble. Lookin forward to the New Year 2026.
